About Us

Firstly, thank you for visiting my website. I live near Bath in the UK, and am fortunate to be blessed with beautiful surrounding countryside as well as bucket loads of culture and history in the South West of England. Exploring by road is my favourite pastime, stopping along the way whilst learning from what I find.

I am an author and love to share my travels, but most importantly, since the birth of my daughter I’ve realised that family and the time spent with them is my priority; self -employment allows me the time to make that desire a reality. Very high on the list follows Lola’s education, and I am passionate about Montessori Pedagogy.  Recently, I concluded that to bringing together my passions, beliefs and work was the only sensible direction to head in. If I can inspire others to do the same along the way it will be wonderful.

So here we are, with the goal of giving families and teachers around the world a helping hand with their own journey through Montessori Education and the Great Lessons. The books I publish are written to make the lives of other educators easier, it’s a small token but one I hope you enjoy!

Emma Herbert is an author, speaker and coach with a background in business consulting. She has lived and worked in several countries including Thailand, New Zealand and Australia. Now back in her native UK, she is enjoying life as a teacher and parent having finally found her real passion after the birth of her daughter, Lola.
