Back on the Writing Ladder

writing stories is always a long road ahead

How time flies.

I created this website eight years ago with a clear vision, but somewhere along the way I meandered from the path. I haven’t spent time here, I haven’t shared my passion. It’s a shame, but I am a believer that things fall into place when they are supposed to.

Here we are in 2024, in the midst of a crisis both for humanity and our planet; it seems timely that now is the point I’m ready to move forward with sharing more about these subjects through the Montessori community.

Maria Montessori considered peace education to be as important as understanding our planet. The interrelated nature of all things is central to her teachings, so I’m going to do my best to bring this to the world in a contemporary fashion.

As a writer and artist I have the opportunity to inspire, influence, and uplift people during uncertain times. I have the ability to sow seeds of hope for our children, because they are the future. The importance of storytelling cannot be underestimated, and I’m in a position to deliver tools and resources to highlight this.

I have looked for writing websites that complement my approach, but I’ve struggled to find what I want. It’s up to me to create my own!

During the next few months I will be working on illustrations and stories for my Great Lessons materials which I will be posting when I complete them. It’s going to take a while, but I’ll get there. Currently, I’m creating the timelines for presentation with the stories. After that, it will be the black line masters for ease of use.

I’ve always said that we should make the most of time, and if the past few years have taught me anything it’s that we must grab every chance to be with our loved ones. I’ve not been giving this website my attention for quite some time. I’ll be writing more about the reasons for my absence in coming weeks, but for now this short post is my first step back on the writing and creativity ladder.

Please… wish me luck!

Please help us grow...
